The shell of an enteric-coated capsule has an acid-resistant polymeric film coating. That’s why it is strong enough to pass through the stomach acid alive and disintegrates only in the intestine.

They don’t irritate the stomach lining. In order to be fully eaten by intestinal acid, enteric-coated capsules need an hour or two, which make them ideal for time-sensitive medications.

• Capsules are carefully wrapped in two-layer aluminum foil plastic bags.
• These plastic bags are protected inside one meter deep sturdy corrugated cartons.
• The box is secured with Biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film.
• A package label with box content info (no. of empty pill capsules, disposal, shelf-life, etc.) is pasted on the box.
